Affability Definitions

Posted on December 6, 2019November 24, 2019 by definitionexplorer

Affability refers to the quality of being kind and attentive in the treatment of other people.

The word affability derives from the Latin affabilĭtas, which indicates the quality of being affable. The words kindness, generosity, cordiality, benevolence, kindness, courtesy, openness, gentleness, among others, can be used as synonyms for affability.

For example, “Your affability differentiates you from the rest of the people you work with”; “My cousin lacks affability, so I avoid talking to her”; “It is a pleasure to greet the president of the company, his affability is a charm.”

People who have the quality of affability are those that are characterized by giving a deal and offering sincere, humble and charismatic conversations. In addition, they have a great disposition to attend to people in a gentle way and with a calm posture that is very pleasant because they like the other to feel comfortable and confident.

Therefore, affability is a quality of great value in society, since it is a personal trait that generates trust and security among people and that, unfortunately, not everyone practices for various reasons such as rivalry, envy, having bad Higher feelings or belief.

Affable individuals enjoy a virtue that opens the door to personal well-being because they convey goodness, simplicity and openness, are not false or act in search of any particular interest.

Also, it is worth mentioning that affability is put into practice, not only in dealing with others, but also with everything that surrounds us.
